Virat Kohli :

Virat Kohli met his double, he was really  with an unexpected sight at the recently wind up India vs New Zealand test series. In the stands, was his double?

A video, going viral on social media, shows Virat Kohli’s priceless reaction to seeing his doppelganger in the crowd during the third test match in Indore. Since being shared on 13th October, the video has received more than 5, 00,000 views and over 6,500 shares on the all social networking site.

The hilarious video shows Virat trying his best to control his laughter on seeing his mirror-image among over-excited audience, all trying to click selfies with his doppelganger and shouting Kohli..Kohli..Kohli.
The doppelganger look like Virat Kohli so much, we are sure even the test captain must be wondering if it was actually him in the stands and says ‘’Is That Me in the Stands?’. Kind of like a scene from Shah Rukh Khan’s film Duplicate, only funnier.

Virat Kohli and other cricketers recently white washes New Zealand after knock down them 3-0 in the three-match Test series with the final Test played at Indore.

Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli led from the front during the 3rd Test. He scored 211, which is his second double hundred.

During second day’s play at Indore, when Rohit Sharma drove Mitchell Santner off the last ball of the 149th over, through covers, cameras caught someone in the crowd. The whole stadium rips in a loud cheer after seeing it on the big screen.

Everyone thought it was Virat Kohli. But by the time when cameras zoomed in, it was cleared that he was only a look-alike of the Indian skipper. He also had the same beard too.

When Kohli saw the footage from dressing room, his reaction was quite amezing and unexpected.

India defeated New Zealand with a huge margin of 321 runs and won the series 3-0.

Ravichandran Ashwin was declared as Man of the Match as well as Man of the Series.

Kohli is very soft harted man and he gifted a car to his mentor.

It is well documented fact that Rajkumar Sharma’s contribution in Virat Kohli’s progression from a valuable talent to a world-class batsman has been specious.

A hard disciplinarian, the ‘Guru’ did become emotional during 2014 Teacher’s Day by a price from his ‘shishya’ which he would never be able to forget.

The book ‘Driven’ written by veteran sports journalist Vijay Lokapally recalls one such overwhelming incident.

The book ‘Driven’ written by veteran sports journalist Vijay Lokapally recalls one such very large incident.

The author wrote:”I answered the bell and found Vikas who is Kohli’s elder brother at the door,” said Raj Kumar.

“His brother’s arrival at his house so early in the day was reason for anxiety. Vikas stepped into the house, dialled a number and handed his cell phone to Raj Kumar. ‘Happy teacher’s Day Sir,’ said Virat, even as Vikas thrust something into Rajkumar’s palms that is a bunch of keys.

“Rajkumar stood confuse as Vikas requested him to step out of his house. A shimmer Skoda Rapid was parked at the gate it was a gift from Virat to his mentor.”

“It was not just because he had gifted me the car. It was because of his emotional touch to the process of reminding me how much he adored our organization, and assess the role of a teacher in throughout his  life.”

If this was a spiritual incident, there was a curious one too. Virat may feel ‘what’s there in a name’ but there are others who may think otherwise.

Yuvraj Singh in his book ‘Test of My Life’ wrote that he thought that Virat Kohli’s must have got his now famous nickname ‘Chikoo’ from the famous comic series ‘Champak’ which had a character by the same name.

But a new book written on the Indian Test captain reveals the ‘secret’ behind Kohli getting such a ‘fruity nickname’.
The author writes:”The Delhi team was playing Ranji Trophy match in Mumbai. Virat has not even played a total of 10 first-class matches. He was a part of set-up that included players he had looked up to Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Rajat Bhatia and Mithun Manhas. He was more than happy to be sharing dressing room with them.

How Virat Kohli got the nickname “Chikoo” ?? “One evening, he returned to the hotel with his hair nicely reaped. He has spotted a fancy hair salon close by and given himself a new look. ‘How is it?’ he asked excitedly as he ran into a couple of younger colleagues. ‘Not bad, you look like a Chikoo like Sapodilla,” joked Ajit Chowdhary, the assistant coach looking from a distance.
“The name struck. Chikoo. Virat didn’t mind it all.

“He was still trying to find his feet in the big world of domestic cricket circuit. He liked it when he got attention. I have not known a more competitive youngster. He was just hungry for more runs and attention,” said Chowdhary, the only person other than Coach Rajkumar Sharma to have damn Virat.”

Gautam Gambhir today said both he and current India Test captain Virat Kohli are aggressive individuals who are passionate about cricket.

Gambhir said his characteristics are equl to Kohli and both of them share a common aim, like to give their 100% best for their respective teams on the field.

Gambhir and Kohli had a verbal duel during the 2013 IPL match between their respective teams  Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Bangalore Challengers.

Also this year, Gambhir had apparently kicked a chair during the celebration of KKR’s victory over Kohli’s RCB and was later fined 15% of his match fee for breaching the Indian Premier League (IPL) Code of Conduct.

West Indies cricketer and singer Dwayne Bravo aka DJ Bravo will soon make his debut on TV with dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.  So he want to challenge kohli to do dance on Jhalak Dikhhala Jaa and more said about Virat Kohli is a good dancer. He has also danced in one of my music videos. He is so natural, cool and absolutely one of the best dancers in the team. Then you have Ravindra Jadeja. I think all the players can dance well. I think if you are born in India two things is for sure to do – one is to be able to dance and the other is to play cricket.
