Ganesh Chaturthi 2016: Bollywood stars get ready for Ganpati festival

The 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival starts yesterday and from the common people to Bollywood stars, all are excited and preparing to welcome Lord Ganpati home. Specially Kids are very excited for welcoming Ganesha. Kids believe that Ganesha is their best friend so that they called “My Friend Ganesha”.
Ganesh Chaturthi, a Hindu festival celebrated to worship the elephant-headed god Ganesha, is contemplate providential ubiquitously India. Also known as ‘Vinayak Chaturthi’ or ‘Vinayaka Chavithi’, it is celebrated during the month of Bhaadrapada ,In mid-August to mid-September in pursuance of to the Hindu calendar.
Devotees pray to Lord Ganesha for prosperity, Happiness. Public Sweetmeat are put up and Ganesha idols established by societies where people come to worship the Lord Ganesha and enjoy the joy of fastival. Families also bring idols home for a few days to enjoy the festival and for worship.

Each and every day of this festival has its own interpretation and is righteousness celebrated with ceremonial and gesture. And Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Vivek Oberoi, Shilpa Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor celebrate the Ganesh festival with traditional fervour.
Actress Shilpa Shetty, who has given her own flavour to the festival this year, and celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi, Her aiming to support environment-friendly celebration. She was out with her husband Raj Kundra and her little four-year-old son Viaan to get Bappa at home. Bollywood stars celebrate the festival with much fervour and pride in every year.
The Ganapati festival commenced the day after yesterday (September 5) and Lord Ganesha was brought home for the 7-days or 10-days celebration. Our Sultan Salman Khan was also seen welcoming Bappa home. The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi brings out happiness to us the festive side of these celebs and also many of their friends and family members were seen dropping in to take the lord’s blessings with pride. Thus, this year too, Ganesha has arrived and these celebs were seen welcoming him.
Actor Vivek Oberoi said…I likes the traditions associated with the Ganesh Chaturthi festival and loves to meet relatives and friends and celebrate with them.
Actress Katrina Kaif said in a statement that she will go over to friend’s place to enjoy the festival and worship. “I go visiting friend’s house during Ganpati, that’s how I celebrate it and take blessings from Lord.”
When someone asked to Katrina kaif , if she will ever get Ganpati for herself, she replied, “Yes why not, it will be wonderful for me.”
Daisy Shah also visit friends on the festival and worship the Lord Ganesha And said..
“I will go for visit a few friends and relatives, this Ganpati to solicit blessings of Lord Ganesha. Every day is a blessing in a way and get happiness and one can ask to Daisy whatever they wish to on any day.? After that She replied.. For me festivals are more about spending some good time with your loved ones, and enjoy family moment , celebrate the joy of festive”.
The Ganesh utsav trend also in the Kapoor family who were started by Raj Kapoor, and Neetu Singh, Ranbir Kapoor’s mother. Ranbir and his family commemorate the festival with pride. This is one of the biggest and populate Ganpati celebrations between Bollywood families. The whole Kapoor kin shirr under one roof to welcome the Elephant Lord, The Lord Ganesha.
Govinda too, brings home the idol of Lord Ganesha and doing His worship, in spite of it is a low key biz. Only his wife Sunitha and son Yashvardhan Ahuja and daughter Tina Ahuja and few family members and close friends take part in the celebrations. With his daughter making her debut in Second Hand Husband nigh Gippy Garewal and his son waiting for the right script for debut in bollywood films so, Govinda has a many reason to thank Bappa for all the happiness to this year.
Riteish Deshmukh was also seen with wife-actress Genelia D’souza and their family, and welcomes Bappa with great joy in their traditional best, celebrating the festival..
Shraddha Kapoor and her brother Siddhanth Kapoor celebrated the festival with their mother’s side of the family and with Asha Bhoshle.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha, Karan Johar come together to worship and celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi at Manish Malhotra’s residence!
