Modi Government to recruit employees in Central Government Department

Central government of Modi will recruit more than 2 lakhs employees in the span of next two years. Generally Modi government is seen following ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance’ agenda, but this huge recruitment seems opposite to it.

According to statistics, the staff strength of central government employee is 34.93 lakhs added unbelievably in a span of only one year. Previous year it was 33.05 lakhs only. It is anticipated that by 2017, it will reach the number of 35.23 lakhs. It includes the recruitment in railways too.

Mostly the recruitment will take place in the Revenue Department. Almost 70,000 new employees will be recruited in Revenue Department. This department includes Income Tax, Custom and Excise Departments in it.

Central Paramilitary Force will be added with 47,000 new soldiers. In addition to this, Ministry of Home Affairs will have 6000 new recruitments.

Cabinet Sachivalays which help government run smoothly will recruit 301 new employees. By 2017, they become the body of 1201 employees extended from current body of 900 employees.

In last two years, ministry of Information and Broadcasting has recruited approximately 2200 employees. Mean while Ministry of Urban Development has recruited 6000, Mines and Geology Department has recruited 4399 and astronomy department has recruited 1000 new employees.
